High Desert Sunshine - 2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015/2016: Finally

Today we got pictures of our girls....The first one is of Oreily when she was just born...blue bow around her neck means she was the second born. The other pic is of the whole litter (7) when they were turned in to the Natl CCI Headquarters yesterday in Santa Rosa. And one of Reily playing in the yard. And Judy's pup, Ojai with her purple collar (3rd born) Tomorrow we'll see them for ourselves. Been packing a bag for the trip...food, water, bowl, towels, cleaning solution, baby wipes....
We did find out that they both have a little intestinal bug but the vets treated them and they are doing fine. Oreily also has mild entropian in both eyes, which is a folding in of the lower eyelids so the eyelashes irritate the eyes. She has staples in the skin under each eye which should remain in until they fall out on their own (typically 3-4 weeks). Poor little girl...first leaving her mom and littermates and BC and then spending time at the vet (although everything else is fine) and now facing getting on an airplane to fly half way across the country to Houston and then back to ABQ. We will shower her with love when she arrives.
