Women Perspire, Men Sweat

That's what the ladies say but let me tell you, there are women down here who are sweating! It has been over 90 degrees and sunny for at least a week...unusual weather for this time of year...course that's what they told us about the winter and all the snow. Right now, I wouldn't mind one of those cold winter days so I could put a fleece jacket on and hang out inside where it's warm...well, it's warm inside now too...but not like outside. At least the nights are cooling off and the breeze comes up so sleeping has been ok. No, we do not have air-conditioning....although we are thinking about putting the window unit back in.

A couple of months ago we decided to spend the big bucks $$$$ and order MLB Extra Innings so we can watch the Twins and Mariners play. Without it, we usually ended up watching whatever game was on...mostly National league teams. So we paid the money and now are relaxing and watching our 'teams'. We still haven't decided if we're cheering for the Twins or Mariners when they play each other. But it was worth it.

Work is busy, I haven't been called for jury duty yet, and  that's a good thing.The jury system here is bizarre...but maybe I already said that. 6 months, on call.... I did laugh when the judge swore us all in though...he said if you don't show up for jd and don't give them a reason, they can send the sheriff to serve you a contempt of court....or deport you to Arizona!!
