Yes, we had/have rain!! Wonderful wet drippy heavy rain.......with some thunder and a little lightning but mostly RAIN!! Hopefully the sky is primed now and will bring more....but every bit helps. What a glorious sight and sound. For folks who have too much rain, we are sorry....but for those of us who haven't had rain for months and months....well, it's a real blessing!! We sat on the back porch and watched the rain....and smiled and cheered as we watch the drops fall. And of course the dogs snuck out into the back yard and got wet. A wet Labrador is no big deal but a wet Westie...ugh....but it's all ok....Bring on the monsoons!!
I am SO glad you got some rain. Mercer County is SO wet and green. There is water standing in the sand hills east of Hazen. I have NEVER seen water there before. A lot of the county roads have soft spots or have water over some areas. Unreal. Lake Sakakawea is full and the Garrison Dam is releasing 150,000 CFS into the Missouri River. If we could share our water there would be many, many happy homeowners. I sure do hope your rainfall DID prime the skies!
